GiveBIG is May 3rd. Here are four BIG reasons you’ll have a much easier time supporting EBC this year
As an EBC supporter you are probably aware of the Seattle Foundation’s day of giving, GiveBIG. Certainly you know that during GiveBIG your donation to EBC will be stretched, allowing EBC to do even more to help local kids. We do hope that you will give to EBC during GiveBIG. AND we hope that the new GiveBIG features the Seattle Foundation has introduced this year will make that experience a much easier one.
Here are four of the BIG reasons you’ll have a much easier time supporting EBC during GiveBIG this year:
1. You don’t have to give on the day of. Maybe you want to give right now, while it’s on your mind, or maybe you are on vacation on May 3rd. For whatever reason, if you are worried about finding the time on May 3rd to go online and give, the new advance giving feature of GiveBIG will make your life easier. With this feature you can make a pledge donation anytime between NOW and May 2nd and it will count for the GiveBIG stretch.
2. You can make sure EBC gets your full donation. If you are giving $100 to help kids, you want EBC to get $100 to help kids, right? Not $96. With the new GiveBIG features, you can select to pay the processing fees for your online transaction, ensuring EBC gets the full amount of your donation.
3. You can support multiple organizations in a single transaction. Maybe you want donate to kids and the theater, and you don’t want to have to go online and complete two different transactions to do it. Now you don’t have to. Thanks to the new GIveBIG features you can now give to multiple organizations in a single transaction.
4. You can learn more about EBC and make a donation in the same location. No more switching back and forth between the EBC information page and the page where you actually make a donation. Because of the new GiveBIG features, this all happens on one page!
